This is one of our favorite returning clients, because it shows how the E-2 visa allows entrepreneurs with businesses expand into the U.S. market.

Our clients initially began their clothing brand business in Canada, but with a large portion of their sales occurring in the U.S., they recognized the potential for expansion into the American market. There are several compelling reasons for Canadian businesses to consider expanding into the U.S. market:

-Faster and more affordable shipping to U.S. customers from a U.S.-based business
-Increased trust and credibility among U.S. customers when purchasing from a U.S.-based company

Seeing proof of concept in the U.S. Market and recognizing these opportunities, our client pursued the E-2 visa route and has achieved remarkable success since then.

We were thrilled to see the business revenues reach to MULTI-MILLION figures! While our client's revenue initially appears impressive, a closer examination revealed a concerning trend: a 37% decline from 2022 to 2023. Such a substantial decrease can raise red flags for a visa officer deciding whether to renew our clients E-2 visa.

Although we remained optimistic about the likelihood of visa approval, we recognized the importance of addressing this decline head-on to maximize our client's chances of obtaining the full 5 year E-2 visa that he deserved and avoid delays in a decision. To this end, we crafted a compelling explanation for the revenue downturn in the E-2 application. Additionally, in the business plan we instructed our client to outline strategies for future improvement and growth. By proactively addressing this issue and presenting a solid plan for recovery, we mitigated any concerns raised by the visa officer.

The visa was approved without delay and our client’s received their passports with new E-2 visa in approximately 7 business days.
